Privacy Policy
Frontage, Inc. (“Frontage,” “we,” “us”) builds software for licensed real-estate agents to plan, draft, review, and publish marketing content. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how a California resident can exercise their rights under the CCPA and CPRA.
1. Data we collect
From agents (our customers)
- Identity: name, email, phone, brokerage, DRE license number, market, profile photo.
- Authentication metadata managed by Clerk: session tokens, sign-in timestamps, IP address.
- Billing: handled directly by Stripe. Frontage does not store full card numbers.
- Content: posts you draft or publish, photos you upload, voice memos you record, brand-voice profiles we learn from your samples.
- Integrations: tokens for connected social accounts (held by Bundle.social), MLS feed credentials.
From leads (people who contact an agent through Frontage)
- Contact info you provide: name, email, phone, message body.
- Source metadata: which channel, which listing, time of contact.
- SMS opt-in record (TCPA): the form, timestamp, and disclosure language at the moment you opted in.
2. How we use it
- To run the product: draft posts, route inbound leads, schedule SMS, render videos.
- To improve compliance review: AI-assisted scans for Fair Housing, NAR, and platform-rule risks before publication.
- To bill: Stripe processes subscription payments per the agent's plan.
- To support: respond when agents or leads contact us. We do not sell personal information.
3. Subprocessors
The following service providers process data on Frontage's behalf. Each operates under a data-processing agreement (DPA) with Frontage. The list is current as of the “last updated” date above.
- Supabase — Database, row-level auth, file storage (rendered videos and uploaded photos).
- Clerk — Authentication and session management for agents.
- Stripe — Subscription billing and payment processing.
- Inngest — Background job scheduling (post drafting, render queueing).
- Bundle.social — Multi-platform social-media publishing on the agent's behalf.
- Anthropic — Large-language-model inference for caption drafting and compliance review. Frontage participates in Anthropic's zero-retention program where applicable.
- Resend — Transactional email delivery (account, billing, lead notifications).
- Twilio — SMS delivery for opted-in lead conversations.
4. Your CCPA / CPRA rights (California residents)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we have collected about you.
- Request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal exceptions.
- Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Frontage does not sell personal information; see the Do Not Sell My Info page for the formal opt-out form.
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information.
- Be free from retaliation for exercising any of the above rights.
To exercise any right, email privacy@frontage.app from the address on file (or include identity-verification information if you do not have an account).
5. Retention
Account data is retained while the agent's account is active and for a reasonable period after cancellation for billing and audit purposes. Lead data is retained until the agent deletes it or closes their account. FHA-flagged-and-overridden post drafts will be retained for three years to support HUD audit defense (this is an obligation Frontage takes on; agents do not have a separate audit log).
6. Security
Data is encrypted at rest (Supabase platform default) and in transit (TLS). Access is gated by row-level security tied to the authenticated agent. Frontage is targeting SOC 2 Type II; status will be published when the first report is issued.
7. Children
Frontage is for licensed real-estate agents and is not directed to children under 16.
8. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes we will notify agents via email and update the “last updated” date above. Continued use after a material change constitutes acceptance.
